Founded as an independent non-profit organization in 2021, after previously operating as the Associate Board for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Illinois Region, the Illinois Blood Cancer Foundation ("IBCF") has a mission of raising funds and awareness to support blood cancer research, advocacy and patient support.  

Although tremendous strides have been taken in advancing blood cancer treatments over the past 50+ years, much work remains to be done. Every three minutes, someone is diagnosed with blood cancer – and Leukemia is the #1 most diagnosed form of childhood cancer. Our goal is to help continue advancing these life-saving blood cancer treatments and ultimately create a world that is cancer free!
