On Tuesday, May 10, 2022, a group of IBCF board members got together to pack up much-needed supplies for donation to the Pediatric Oncology wing of Lurie’s Children’s Hospital. With patient support a core tenet of our mission, our members worked to purchase and package items such as stress balls, decks of cards, coloring materials, and other toys to help Lurie’s patients cope during their time in-hospital.

On Saturday, February 5, 2022, IBCF held our first fundraising event and hosted an open bar at Whiskey Business in Chicago's Wicker Park. The afternoon was filled with friends, family, food, drinks, and curling on the roof. Most importantly, through the generosity of those who attended, we were able to further our mission and raise thousands to help fund the fight the battle against blood cancer!
